| It's been a while since my last update, but I finally remembered that I
still had a Xanga site. The reason I haven't been updating this past
summer is because I've been away on a tour around the nation with
Impulse Drum and Bugle Corps. For those who don't know what a drum and
bugle corps is, it's like a real intense marching band minus all the
woodwinds. Basically, you just have your brass (trumpets, mellophones,
baritones, and contras), drumline, pit, and the colorgaurd. We practice
all day everyday with the occasional day-off, somewhere in there. It's
pretty harsh especially during the summer days when the sun is at its
peak. Not everyone can join, you gotta have the strength, the talent,
and the perseverance to make it towards the end. However, the end of
the season is so rewarding and refreshing to have gone so far and put
out your very best.
I had so much fun those guys at Impulse I really want to go back for my
last year. By the way, the age limit to join any corps is 21. So, I
have to make my last year the best year. I have no doubt that I'll have
the same fun and meet more interesting people and make more friends.

| I know it's been a while since my last entry, but I've actually been busy. Not just that I've also had (have) problems with my computer. I bought an Anti-Virus to get rid of all the Trojans I have, but the damn thing hardly works. I've done two full computer scans and I still have viruses!!! I even used Spy bot to team up with, it did a little work and it did managed to get my browser working again. However, my computer is running real slow and I still can't get rid of the blue screen that tells me I have viruses.
I also have a new job working at Ralph's. I had to bother my brother to get it for me to put in a good word in for me. I've been working there for more than a month and already I'm stressed from my co-workers. They bug the fuck out of me! It's like they all crave my attention and they want me to approve everything they do. Jezuz, I wish all their heads would explode except for the pretty ones (they can bother me all they want).
The reherssals at IMPULSE are getting intense and where learning new drill for our show and getting the rest of the music in. The drill is pretty cool and adding the music to it gets me excited for this years season. I cant wait when we put this show on tour.
That's what I've been up to lately. I dont like getting detailed on LJ anymore it seems more of a waste. At least you all know what my life is sorta like. | | |
| I didnt sleep for the whole weekend. I basically woke up Saturaday
morning went to the doctors and then went to work. After work I went to
Kristens' apartment for some movies and stayed up all night. On Sunday
morning we went to Denny's for breakfast which was good to have some
energy for the day. We went to Ameoba for some cd shoppin for like
three hours. I did buy a Arturo and Maynard cd which costed $24
together. Now I remember why I dont buy cd's anymore.
Then went to Pasadena to buy a study book for cornet and a metranome.
Kristen wanted to see the shops that were around since she hasnt been
there forever because she lives in the middle of the desert of
Valencia. Which we went to afterwards and tried to get a nap before
bowling.
Bowling is always fun seeing how I suck so much. I can safely go just
to have some fun and have Kristen kick my ass since she has her own pro
ball and shoes. I did beat her one game though.
Agian we went to her apartment for more movies all night. Around 8:00am
I took her to work and I headed off back to Burbank. When I got home I
took a shower then got back inside my truck to go to school. (Still no
sleep). I couldnt wait until my classes were over. I didnt get back
home until 6:00pm where I just crashed on my bed.
I woke up at 9:00am the next morning missing my concert band class.
That class is based on attendence, so now I have like a C and I cant
miss anymore if I want to go to Frenso... Damn class, that's the only
reason why I want to go. I've heard really exciting stories up there.

| So, I might be ditching Pacific Crest and go with IMPULSE. IMPULSE is
doing a show based on the Incredibles. I havent seen the movie, but the
opener is fun. The only down side is IMPULSE is divison 2 corps when PC
is a divison 1. Oh well, IMPULSE has a longer tour and the guys
in it are cooler.
I also need a new job.

| I guess I should type something down about my Valentines' day since
everyone else had fun on theirs. I basically started my spring
semester at PCC with only four classes, WOOO!!! I havent added more
because I wasn't sure if I wanted to concentrate on work or my studies.
I've asked a lot of people on what I should do and I got good things
from both sides, but it didnt help me on my decision. I think I'm just
gonna take a part-time job and concentrate on my studies. I dont want
to be one of those vets that been there for like ten years and still
only done forty units. My goal is to transfer before 2010.
I finished my classes early and went out with trumpet Jessica for some
ice cream (which she treated me). I had some fun even though she's like
five years-old. Then I took her home around 6:30pm and then I went home
to chill.
Around 9:00pm Kristen gave me a text. She wanted some company since her
roommates were gonna "bump the ugly" all night. I know how it feels
when the neighbors are having "the time of their lives" while I'm
trying to sleep. So, I went over to her new pad and basically made fun
of the whole idea of having sex. During that time she kept on getting
calls from these guys who are her friends (which I personally think
they're stalkers). Kinda weird and interesting on what guys say when
they're lonely and or drunk.
I ended up going home around 2:00am and on the way home Kristen gave me
a text telling me she had a great time with me. I'm glad someone was
happy around me on Valentine's day.
I had low expectations on Valentine's day... I'm glad I was wrong.
